Okay id like to post a bunch of prism fanart bc the cpuk community goes crazy w character designs and its so good (see above) but i only have a few drawings of Prism i drew a longass time ago. So instead, heres some Prism Fun Facts:
Prism is the divine babysitter of the 3 gods in CPU Kerfuffle, and raised them because their actual godly parent is more of an entity than a character that can raise children.
Fun fact 1b: This parent, Spectrum, is actually the narrative itself.
2. Prism, as Spectrum’s servant, is also aware that she is in a story, and takes it upon herself to make sure the narrative unfolds the way she thinks it has to, and the characters behave the way they have to.
3. Prism controls the characters and story by rewriting the actual narrative, dialogue, actions, and thoughts of the characters, which is only detectable when the narrative is in written form. The characters are completely unaware that they have been rewritten, and assume Prism’s characterization of them is their actual thoughts and feelings. The hallmarks of Prism’s rewrites are italics and a smile :).
4. Because Prism is one of the only characters in CPU Kerfuffle who is aware that she is in a story, and since she has decided she has the responsibility to reign in the story, Prism has developed a bit of a god complex over the other characters, and sees the narrative as her own, static creation. However, in realtity, CPUK is a very improvised story with a lot of contribution from all us viewers(/readers?), and, of course, Prism is just another character, who was herself submitted by a member of the community. Prism has a hard time dealing with this information.
5. Prism’s narrative control reflects what kind of story she thinks CPUK is, not how the story actually is. And sometimes, when her mind-control-recharacterizations of characters contrast too sharply with the characters’ actual personalities, the characters can resist her rewrites and assert themselves over her. One time, Prism attempted to overwrite Trainer of Justice, a gag character who’s whole bit is that he’s a Large Ham TM who seeks and carries out JUSTICE!! At this part in the story, since ToJ has correctly identified Prism as an ass, and is, as usual, intent on delivering Justice unto her, her rewrite where he is too out-of-character, and he overcomes Prism’s control and gives her a black eye.
